Other Names: The Colossus, Gehennath Pronouns: He/Him Role: Supporting character Race: Halfling Alignment: Lawful Evil Soul Colour: Deep earthy brown with streaks of vibrant green
Reserved and enigmatic. Beeehemoth speaks seldom and prefers decisive action. He shows stoic calm in the face of danger, an unyielding sense of duty, and deep loyalty to those who earn it. His silence often masks old wounds and an internal conflict between vengeance and honor.
Nearly ten feet tall, his frame is covered in thick, stone-like skin. Ancient runes are etched across his body and glow blue when he channels his powers. His steps thunder like rolling boulders; his eyes emit an eerie blue light.
Deep, rumbling, and gravelly, with echoes of his halfling origin. He speaks slowly and deliberately, choosing words carefully and avoiding small talk. His voice carries weight and an air of ancient wisdom.
Primary Magic — Geomancy: Control over earth and stone. He can form barriers, shape terrain, create golems, and use the environment offensively or defensively. Secondary / Avatar Aspect — Temporal Manipulation: As an avatar of time he can locally slow or accelerate time for short periods. Combined with geomancy, he can create temporal barriers that protect allies or briefly suspend foes. This power is potent but extremely taxing and requires intense concentration. Physical: Superhuman strength and endurance; able to manipulate massive rock with his bare hands.
A mix of brute force and deliberate tactics. He controls the battlefield by reshaping terrain and setting geological traps. His movements are slow but calculated; he forces foes into disadvantageous positions or temporal snares rather than relying on speed.
Earthshatter — A tremendous stomp or punch that generates localized earthquakes, knocking enemies off balance, opening fissures, or raising stone barriers. When paired with his time-manipulation, Earthshatter can freeze targets briefly while the environment rearranges around them.
No traditional weapons. His body, fists, feet, and geomantic power are his arms; the landscape becomes his arsenal.
Slow movement: His mass makes him sluggish and vulnerable to fast, evasive opponents. Magical exhaustion: Repeated use of time manipulation drains him rapidly. Emotional vulnerability: Memories of his former identity (Behendralim) can be exploited psychologically.
Behendralim once served as a halfling guardian over the imprisoned dragon Malnaar in the mountain depths. Centuries of isolation and Malnaar’s manipulative whispering eroded his resolve. Consumed by despair and tempted by promised power, Behendralim fell into darkness and transformed into Beeehemoth. Though eventually freed from direct servitude, he remains a scarred and enormous being searching for meaning, honor, and redemption.
An ambivalent protector and living enigma. Initially met with mistrust, he becomes a powerful ally once earned. His knowledge of ancient rites and history is vital for uncovering lost truths. His loyalty must be proven, but once given it is steadfast.
To restore his honor and find purpose after being enslaved and manipulated. He seeks to prevent others from suffering the same fate and hopes to redeem his name through protection and valor.
Family ties are largely severed; traces indicate a lineage of halfling wardens dedicated to guarding sacred sites. He rarely speaks of kin, but familial duty still influences his actions.
Tales vary—some say he was a fallen guardian spirit, others claim he carries shards of Malnaar’s power. Stories cast him alternately as a savior and as a harbinger of ruin; merchants and storytellers embellish his legend across the realm.
Beeehemoth stands at a crossroads: either overcome the lingering shadows of his past and become a guardian of a new order, or let vengeance consume him and fall further into darkness. His final fate hinges on moral choices and whether allies can help him reclaim his honor.
Adventurer / Adventure Guild: Initially wary, the guild grows to respect Beeehemoth for his protective capabilities and ancient knowledge. He becomes a powerful — if unconventional — ally in expeditions and sieges.
Role in the Magical Tournament: Driven to prove his worth, seeking recognition and rehabilitation of his name through displays of strength and mastery. Personality traits: Dutiful, stoic, honorable, inwardly conflicted.
