Shūzetsu is an absolutely legendary sword said to have the power to cut through reality itself. Rumors circulate that the previous Shogun and an unknown master smith forged this sword together, but these are only speculations, and no one truly knows the sword’s origins.
Shūzetsu was imbued with spatial magic, making it an exceptionally potent weapon. It has the ability to sever space itself, bypassing any defense its opponent might have. When the sword is sheathed, it rests, and its aura vanishes. However, once drawn, it unleashes an overwhelming Mana pressure so intense that even seasoned warriors fall to their knees, feeling as if the very energy crushes them into the ground.
When Shūzetsu is unsheathed, it also affects the environment. The sky may darken, thunder roars, and lightning cracks, or other extreme weather conditions manifest, as if nature itself reacts to the sword’s power. The sword draws heavily on the user's Mana, which is why even the Shogun only uses it in the most serious of situations. Should an ordinary mortal attempt to wield Shūzetsu, the sword would instantly drain all their Mana, resulting in their death.
To counteract the extreme Mana drain, the Shogun created the Shinsei no Yoroi (Armor of Sacred Purity), allowing her to artificially increase her Mana reserves through its Mana absorption ability, enabling her to wield Shūzetsu for longer durations.
